Super cute! I was very excited when I received this little well. I I switched it on and was super impressed that this little guy had lights and sounds and even a cry sensor.I was excited to use it once my baby arrived so I tucked it away for safe keeping.Little did I know, it completely shut down on me the next time I went to "re-try it".The lights no longer worked and the sound was all muffled. At first I thought it was the batteries but no, I switched and re-switched them and nothing. For the price I expected it to you know WORK.To say it all I sent it back.Cute item, but drains batteries fast.NiceI bought this because it says can detect baby crying and will start playing music to calm baby down, however, the sensor did not work at all. Had return it.Very c heap itemWe have this for our baby’s bassinet. We ended up buying another noise machine because this whale one drains batteries within a week and also doesn’t have an option to continually play. For a newborn (or at least ours), a noise machine is essential to help us soothe. Worrying about when this would shut off and have to get up to press the button on again tired us out even more. However, the heartbeat sound is top notch (our other noise machine’s heartbeat sound is a little harsh). So, as far as recommending this, I wouldn’t unless you’re wanting to get up to turn it on a lot.
