We used this Velcro tape to make an inflatable dinghy cover. I worried it might be difficult to sew onto the waterproof fabric, but it wasn't a problem. I used a vintage Singer sewing machine and had no issues sewing through the Velcro and the fabric. The wide version was ideal because it gave us more "wiggle room" to make sure the pieces fit together securely. Was pleased to find this on Amazon because I couldn't find this width at our local fabric stores.Sew on velcro is so incredibly hard to find in fabric stores. I was so happy to find this on Amazon. You get a lot for your money and I know it will last a long time. I prefer the sew on velcro over the stick on kind. The stick on velcro always comes unstuck for me. If I try to sew the stick on velcro, the sticky stuff gums up my needle and it's not worth the aggravation. Buy this sew on velcro - you will love it!This Velcro gave me a few headaches as the cardboard roll container fell apart upon opening the package and it took quite a while to untangle it. That done, it was very easy to sew onto a fairly thick item, and it sticks!This is a great price, even with a coupon this would be extremely costly at JoAnn. BUT I always end up with a good 6-8" of remaining rough side. Not sure what the deal is with that. I sew a lot and use a TON of velcro for what I make. It seems like a Velcro brand problem not the seller.My husband is in a patch craze and this was just what he needed and less expensive than fabric stores. Great value and performance for the money.product came fast and was exactly as stated. very satisfied with the product.I used it to put my bed skirt on my bed. I cut the fabric sheeting off of the skirt and sewed the soft side to the skirt top. I then ran the loop side around the bottom of the bed securing it with pins. I then attatched the skirt. It works very well and I do not have to worry about lifting the mattress. I needed a long stretch of Velcro to go around the bed and this was the best option for me. I still have a lot left but you can always find use for Velcro.I like this product. I wish Amazon carried it in a bigger roll size. I use it to repair my dog beds when they rip the zipper off. I also use it when I make new covers for my dog beds. Unfortunately, I can only do 1 bed or cover with a little left over. I like this product.Good quality product, plenty in 5m to use, I stiched the hook part to a seat cover to allow it to be held in place but release if pulled.Will need to buy more. Has made my life easier for dress makingGood quality velcro and arrived in good time.Good quality just what I needed.Happy with my purchase
