The product was very loose On my dog the small was a bit to big The sizes run big he was still able to get out of itDog can take it off easilyMy dog wasn’t happy to put it on but it’s a softer approach and I appreciate that.It okay, a little difficult to put on. My dog hates it.Till now I had occasionally been using a sheep harness on my dog to limit the volume of her barking when she would get on a particularly bad tangent at night. (It's designed for sheep, but still fit her fine). Since it wasn't designed for dogs I was worried it wasn't comfortable for her so I got this dog muzzle because it looked like it was made from soft material that would feel good to her. Unfortunately despite her tolerance of wearing the sheep harness as a stand in for a real muzzle, she was completely unwilling to tolerate this muzzle. I started off with adjusting it a bit loose to see how it fit. She promptly removed it. I tightened it over and over and each time she promptly removed it. Even when it was tight enough to make her breathing louder she still just removed it. My dog has a full length snout. It should not be so easy for her to pull it off over her nose. I realized that the softness of the material was also allowing it enough stretch for her to remove it no matter how it was adjusted. Additionally, at all levels of tightness or looseness she made it very clear that she was not comfortable it in and could do nothing but try to remove it till it was off. She was so bothered by it that the last time I put it on her she clawed at her face until the velcro was shredded.Back to using the sheep harness. I realize now that it's way more comfortable for her since she never complains about it and has never damaged it...My Siberian husky is a biter. And this keeps me safe while I am brushing or bathing her.Pros: Stylish, well built, adjustable, and the price is amazing. Can’t believe I was purchasing one at the local feed store for more than double the price and without all the adjustability ?. Live and learn.Cons: The velcro is tough to adjust, you know, because it is super sturdy. But I think this is a minor con….but worth noting. If you have arthritic hands it may not be a great fit.Not for larger, aggressive dogs, but very pretty.Bien
