4.5 stars. Extremely sharp looking vest and WARM! Also very adjustable to your dog's form/size, the neck circumference is adjustable, the length of the middle chest section is adjustable, as well as, the circumference around the dog's chest. Inside of the vest is polar fleece and super warm! perfect for cool weather, for snow and my dogs short hair I will have different coat though.Cons: 1. Taking coat on and off is not the quickest design. 2. end of the coat floats on my lean dogs back. If my dog was wider I don't think it would happen as muchSizing: I bought L (blue) and XL (Grey), both fit his chest area because they are that adjustable!. But, even with a shorter back the end of the coat still floated in the air sometimes, also there is difference in quantity of material that wrapped around him between the sizes. So XL is was a better fit for my 55 pound Dalmatian with 20 inch neck and 29 inch chest.I have Boxers, 2 of them about 65 lb each and ordered size XL. I ordered one of these for each dog. They go camping with us and when it is cold they need something to keep them comfortable, and they hate winter temps. These are fantastic, they are adjustable around the neck, chest and under the belly. They do NOT have leg straps which I like as my dogs hate the straps under the back legs and get caught up on them. They are super soft fleece lined and waterproof outer, plus they are washable. I love that they are warm with out being bulky. Also they have a hole for the leash to attach to the collar. The sizing was right on. Also love the fact that they hare reflective! Can not beat these coats. I attached a pic of my girls and used the flash to show how reflective they are. Hope this helps! This is a well made dog coat and warm for my 8lb chihuahua mix XS fit perfect. For those having issues putting on I suggest leaving neck both sides velcro'd all times and just slip over head, then secure belly and then slip longest strap underneath towards you. Takes little longer but well worth it!I got a size small for my 13 lb mini poodle and it has been amazing. I've had this through 3 winters of lots of snow and it is still in perfect quality. This has done an excellent job of keeping my dog warm as she romps through snow that's as tall as she is.Although adjustable it is very stiff and looks really uncomfortable for my dogThis fits my 1 year old 65lbs boxer perfectly. It also seems like it has enough adjustability to be used if he gets bigger. It's a little bit of a pain to get on. I think they could of designed the middle bottom strap differently, like make it Velcro on the outside instead of having to fold it over, those of you that own own know what I'm talking about I'm sure. But my dog loves wearing it and I'm sure he appreciates it on these 9 degree nights. While the material is great for the cold, the Velcro on the neck area is a problem as is the fit in-general.. cold air, snow and rain get in easily as it does not have a snug fit around the neck and tail opening causing it to "Float". The tail end doesn't form fit my pup as I would like. I tried a medium but was too small and the large fits more like a tu-tu as the under-belly Velcro is more to the front than rear leaving the tail end of the coat does not form to the wearer. Perhaps would fit a different sized/type of dog better. I have a 1 y/o Soft Hair Wheaten Terrier who is 36lbs and carries a medium coat.I got this coat for my 62 lb coon hound. It is very well made and is very nice looking; however, I can’t seem to keep the thing on my dog and when it is on it slides itself more to one side. It pops off in the front in just a few minutes. It only has Velcro at the connections but most are made that way. If it had a few snaps it would be a keeper despite the pain it is to put on. The dog hates this coat and I’m disapointed. I guess I’m going to try some safety pins or just go back to his old ripped sweater.I bought an orange size small and this jacket is a perfect fit . My dog is a 15lb shih-poo measuring 29cm neck/ 44sm chest/ 40cm length (neck to base of tail). It’s a gorgeous high quality light coat. The shell is extremely water/snow proof. This is not a “deep-winter” coat. I consider it a spring/autumn coat, but then again that’s about -10C to +10C where I live up in Northern Ontario (300+ km north of Toronto). I get a lot of compliments on this coat as it looks very high-end and has great style. I’m giving it 4 stars, only because of the chest piece which is aggrevating to put on (both for me and the dog). You have to slip it through a loop of sorts, but by then the Velcro is already in the wrong place. I got this coat for my mom’s dog and she can’t seem to figure out how to put it on her dog properly. Adjusting it isn’t easy cause the Velcro is SO strong (good, but a bad feature in this case) and you’re more or less working blind behind the wide loop it passes through. Chest piece is great for keep dog clean and warm, but if your dog doesn’t like being flipped on it’s back while you fiddle with the loop and the Velcro then I’d suggest finding another coat. I’m lucky in that my dog is very used to clothing of all kinds and is co-operative.I paid $17 for this coat. If I had paid anything close to full price, I would have returned it.The quality seems pretty good, but the size and fit are not worth $70+. It's about 4" too short for my dog. He does seem to have a long body, so this isn't the end of the world. The most annoying part was that I had to add a buckle at the back to hold it down otherwise the jacket was more like a cape.I like the chest protection, my dog is pretty chill so it's easy to put on.My dog measures 9" around his neck, 15" around his chest and ~12" from base of neck to base of tail.Product description indicated that XS is for 8" from base of neck to base of tail and S is for 10"-12". But the XS fits my dog better.A little hard to put on because the end of the chest piece has to go around the waist band, unless your dog stays still for this, it would be a struggle. For the price I paid, I'm pretty happy with the quality. An AWESOME jacket (when it doesn't catch my dogs pee on its cumbersome chestpiece). My issue is the sizing, like everyone else. What breed is this for? My chinese crested NEEDS a jacket but this is shaped for a short hair or God forbid continuous growth hair dog (like a shitzu [cross] which doesn't need a jacket at all. I can't agree with the people who are buying the coats for their huskies or golden retrievers though. Breeds made for cold... All in all three stars. Mine is too small but I wouldn't buy another to replace it.Got two of these jackets for my dogs at a very discounted price. Am very happy with the price and quality. The fit is slightly on the bigger side, but my dogs are on the slimmer side, will have to make slightly adjustments but no big deal. Will continue to support Doghelios in the future. Looking forward to more great products!
