My husband had a very serious surgery on his foot. He also developed complications and it has taken 6 months to heal. Because of where the incision is right up the top of his foot and through the ankle, he had 9 screws inserted. After buying 10 pairs of shoes or slippers to fit on this foot we found them in this shoe. I purchased a 10.5 wide. He said this shoe is so comfortable he did not want to even take it off! The tread is amazing (which is great as we get a lot of snow) but they also help support that foot and ankle. I ordered a 2nd pair as he loves them so much! I highly recommend these!They fit perfect. The only problem I have with the boot is a little rough feeling-on the bottom of my feet,after walking for awhileShoe is comfortable but I thought the sole would have fur padding as well. I bought a Sherpa sole insert and is more comfortableIt is a warm shoe, but the lacing is not sufficient to make it feel like it is tight on your foot, the Velcro tab with it pulled as tight as i can make it only attaches by about 1/ of an inch, making it difficult to keep it attached. the top of the shoe close to your ankle does not fit snug at all.I put off writing a review until I could wear this during some ice/snow/sheet. They performed great. I did not go sliding on my deck at all. Nice grip. Also I luv that I can wear thick rag socks with these and not have the boot too tight on my feet. Glad I bought these.This boot is comfortable, really easy to get on. The tongue pulls up which allows your foot to be placed in the boot easily and then you just pull on the wide straps and is secured by velcro. Good amount of tread.Well Done.........Perfect for me.....Love emNice
