These are just very good. They hold up well. The hook and loop is sturdy and holds the smaller pads well for polishing or compounding tight places. I use it on every correction/detail/paint perfection/spot etch/swirl mark, job I do. These backing plates are just plain good! I recommend them highly to anyone who uses a Micro polisher professionally or just a weekend enthusiast. Plus you have spares in case you accidentally drop your polisher and damage the plate. I can’t tell you how many times I wish I had a backup backing plate and now I have plenty.If you buy them you won’t regret it. Just make sure you chose the right thread, so determine that first. The majority of these Cordless Micro Polishers are metric M6 but double check before ordering, you can go to almost any hardware store and find a Thread/Pitch identifier in the fastener department.
