I love these little shoes. I purchased them for my 1 year old grandbaby and she has so much fun entertaining herself and those around her with the squeaks the shoes make.Run small and slim but are adorable!We bought these in hope it would encourage our daughter to walk. She LOVES them! They are adorable and comfortable. She loved them so much that when she outgrew them I bought the next pair in a different color. The red glitter passed to her younger sister, and after two kids worth of every day use they are just now starting to come apart (bonus! The velcro has lasted all this time).Most importantly, the strap is simple enough and the fit is such that the now 3 yr old and 1 yr old sister can put their shoes on independently!We have gotten at least 3 pairs of these, various sizes and my kid wears them every day until she outgrows them. Sparkles do come off after serious playing in the sand, but what do you expect? They work great and the last surprisingly long considering my kids wears them EVERYWHERE. I kill the squeakers as soon as we get them because I hate that noise, so I don’t know how long that lasts. But my kid loves the sparklesThese are cute and look exactly like the pictures. Leather and soles are soft and flexible. They seem to help keep my clumsy daughter steadier on her feet. There doesn’t seem to be much arch support but she’s not complaining. The velcro strap allows her to take them on and off independently. The rubber soles and thick treads eliminates the worry of slips and falls. The fit is smaller than i was expecting. My daughter just started to wear a size 7. While I didn't review the recommended size chart, I order a size 8 with the intention of having my daughter grow into the shoe. They fit perfectly with some wiggle room. The straps are longer than we need them to be so they hang off a bit. Thankfully, there is enough velcro to keep them closed. My daughter loves them and won't take them off. The squeak is tolerable (like a baby squeeze toy) for now and isn't as annoying as i thought they would be. But thankfully we have an option to remove it in the future.
